Fun at the State Fair!

Mom and I took Mack to the state fair on Saturday and Mack had a BLAST!! He rode 5 rides, ate Greek food, made a hole in one at a mini golf game, and played the duck game. I wasn't sure he would want to ride any rides but he really showed me up. I am so excited to say he's ridden his first roller coaster and loved it! He did however decide against the fried oreo's...oh well.

He wouldn't ride the pony so we took the bench instead.

I figured this one might scare him b/c it went up in the air but he loved it. I'm just glad I didn't get sick.

He loved this one the most. He was screaming YAY the whole time. It made my heart swell with joy!

This one was interesting. I had to fold myself up to fit in the front b/c he wanted to sit in the truck. The things mom's do for their kids. The carnie just laughed at me and shook his head every time we went around the circle.

Loved this one too. You can't go wrong with the old favorites like the farris wheel. We all loved it except when we got stuck at the top and it felt like an icy wind tunnel.

This is what he did the whole time we were on the ride. He is so stinking cute!

Story of my like...I actually like this picture of myself but Mack isn't having it.

Play time with daddy!

Daddy getting his work-out son style!

It's bubble time!

The boys love taking baths together these days so I decided to take it up a notch and make a bubble bath! I think they liked it ;)

catch up time

Mack and I went to see Elmo's green thumb and had a BLAST! We haven't had a mommy and me day in a while so we took advantage and did something I knew Mack would love since he's such a big sesame street fan.

Elmo was an awesome dancer but funny enough Mack was much more impressed by Ernie. Who would have guessed.

This is Mack before we left for the show...he didn't know what we were doing yet but he's in his rock star best!

Mack all excited b/c the show's about to start!

After the show some of our good friends came by to play and eat. Mackenzie couldn't have been happier to have someone to play with, and isn't Noah adorable!

What a beautiful family!

Zac's 9 month appt!

Zac had a great appt today. He weighs 23.2 lbs. and is 29" , big happy boy. He got his finger pricked and didn't even cry but when it came time for the flu shot he was not having it.

Mack had another great day at school, and I have my first refrigerator art (He made a red circle bug). He also came home with glue and construction paper all over his clothes so I know he had a good time. I'll take a picture of the art and post it later. Yes I'm going to be one of those moms that keeps everything. ;)

overdue update

It's been a while, but I finally got a USB drive to put some of my pictures on so I could upload more. Sad I know. So....

Zac swinging in Bruce! Love that smile!

Mack on the tire swing

Zac eating puffs...his great love!

Must love the Mack fro haha

They boys first bath together...they had a blast!

Mack's first day of pre-K! Doesn't he look so grown up.

LOVE his backpack!

His first craft and as you can see there is about 5 crayon lines on it so I'm guessing he wasn't in the mood to color.

Not much has been going on lately. We just got home yesterday from a little over a week visit to the IL's. Everyone had a great time but it's so nice to be home. We moved Zac's crib upstairs last night and he slept all night! I'm so excited to have both boys in their own rooms now.

Since I re-painted Zac's room, I got ambitious and thought I would paint letters for their doors. I think they turned out cute. What do you think?

Forgot to mention Zac is now the proud owner of two bottom front teeth. He is well on his way to eating his first chicken finger, but you should see that baby gum up some bread, it is priceless.

Mack showing Nana where the dog bit him. "bad dog bite spanking" is what he would say. He now blames every scratch on the dog.

Zac is 8 months old today!

I can't believe Zac is 8 months old today. Where has the time gone. He's doing so much these days. Crawling like a mad man, pulling up on everything, climbing on Mack's Elmo chair then pulling up on the end table to grab stuff and throw it off, pulled up on a popcorn can and started walking with it yesterday (OMG!), and he now weighs a whopping 22 lbs. and is 28" long. Big boy that thinks he can do everything his big brother can do. He's grown into such a happy and mostly easy baby. I plan on taking some pictures this afternoon after nap time to share.

poop only in stores?

I know TMI but it seems that Mack only chooses to go poop on the potty in stores (AKA Babies R Us and now Walmart). At least this time I was prepared with suckers. Now to get the child to poop on the potty all the time. Forgot to add that the evening that he pooped at Babies R Us, he came home and hid to poop in his pants.

GI appointment 2

Today was Zac's GI appointment and there's not much to note. He's staying on 30 mg of prevacid and will be taking enulous as needed. I love his doctor! I must also add my double stroller is still an absolute God send! If not for it I wouldn't be able to get through these doc apointments with my mind still intact.

Poop on the go!

For a while now Mack has been pee trained but this morning we had to make an early start for Zac's ear appt. (that by the way I missed 3 times ugh where has my memory gone) so we had to get up extra early. Mack told me every time he needed to pee in the potty then at Babies R Us he POOPED in the potty!!!!! He has randomly gone 3 or 4 times in the past but never has he asked to go at a store and done it in a timely manner. I always tell him if he poops in the potty he gets a sucker so immediately he started asking for a sucker and I had to search the whole store for a sucker. The only suckers I could find was a bag of organic suckers with a hefty price tag but it was so worth the whole bag of suckers just so I don't have to change any more stinky diapers.

Also a random tid bit a dog tried to bite Mack a couple of days ago but only succeeded in making a huge bruise and scratch (the owner yanked it back before it could cause any "real damage") but now to anyone he sees he'll show them his arm and say "dog bite bad dog spanking" and in return I must say "yes bad dog and he got a big spanking". Needless to say he's very weary now around dogs. I just thank God it was a Schnauzer and not a pit bull. My poor baby :(

I suppose I should also note that Zac's apointment went really well we were in and out in 5 minutes and his tubes are doing great! We go to his GI doctor Friday so I'll tell you how that goes. He's doing great with his meds and is spitting up alot less and his stinkies are alot easier to pass. For such a rough start he's doing so well now.

Cute boys!

Took a few cute pictures of the boys today...
Mackenzie and Zac looking out the window to find daddy and grandaddy (working on the house today).

They cooperated for a few pictures together today. It's a rarity so enjoy. :)

pulling up and sprinklers!

Zac's favorite new pass-time. I nearly fell out of my seat when he did this the other day. He had only pulled up on my hands but I guess the window was way too enticing to pass up.

And now a couple of days later he's pulling up on things that are as tall as he is. Daddy was just too funny! :)

Yesterday we decided to get the sprinkler out and see if Mack had changed his mind about it. (Last year he HATED it) Low and behold he had a blast with it.

My Sister's Keeper

Not sure how many of you have read the book but although deep it was a wonderful book with an ending you would never see coming. WHY then does the movie industry change the best part of the story. I went to see the movie today while my wonderful husband watched the kids, and instead of leaving the theater greatful that the book had been made into a movie I was and I quote this from myself talking to my husband " overwhelmingly upset, ticked off, and outraged". They completely changed the ending from the book. I mean who does that?!? I don't mean to spoil it for anyone but if you haven't read the book read it and if you have and were planning on going to see the movie don't it'll only make you mad. Alright I'm done with my vent for the day. :)

Picture overload!

Attempted a family picture...this reaches back to May. Yep it's been a while since I updated pictures.

Zac and Uncle Corey playing!

Not long after they were both fast asleep. How sweet is that!

I took a few pictures of Zac although he wasn't the most cooperative subject.

Zac's first 4-wheeler ride. Mack wanted to go too :/ and jealousy raised it's ugly head.

Mack getting ready to mow the grass ;)

Mack and Zac rough housing.

We all started playing with the blanket. Putting over each other's head. It was a laugh fest!

We went to the park and both boys had so much fun! Zac LOVED the swing!

Mack had a blast on the slide. Cole had to drag him away.

Is this not the cutest picture you've seen of Cole and Mack!

Today Mack was putting his cowboy hat on Zac. Zac thought it was hilarious!

Hope you enjoyed!
