Butterflies and a hand print fall tree

Seems forever ago now, but Aunt Jess sent the boys some caterpillars for a little happy to watch them grow. We have had the best time watching and feeding!

Today we let 4 beautiful butterflies go. We kept one because it's wings are deformed and I just didn't have the heart to let it die. It was a miracle that I got this picture. Those little buggars were fast!
They couldn't wait to catch the next one to let go.
We watched them fly away, and even ran after one to re-release it.
Zac holding our little flightless butterfly. Thanks Aunt Jess for the experience of a lifetime!
Today we also made fall trees. My intention was to take pictures during the process, but the mess factor was just too extreme. So here is the finished product. I'm pretty sure these will be framed! LOVE how they turned out the picture just doesn't do them justice!

Pictures of my little men

Not sure why some of my pictures are sideways but here are some of the recent pictures I've taken of the boys.

Tae Kwon Do and a little fun at the park

The greatest joys in life are the ones that involve my children at their happiest. One of their favorite places is the park. Last week my mom and I took the boys to their most favorite park! I think the smiles on their faces tell the whole story.

 Zac doing his favorite activity....swinging!

On to a brand new adventure. Mack started taking Tae Kwon Do! He's been showing interest for awhile, and by that I mean he loves to watch ninja movies while reenacting the moves. So I decided after we missed soccer this season we would give it a try. I am a complete novice!! I know NOTHING other than what I've learned off of the 3 ninjas. haha! I'm planning on doing more homework on the art, but until then he wears a uniform, has a teacher, and kicks and yells alot. The one reservation I have in all of this is the STARK white "uniform"! OMG it is white and I am terrified of stains!

During his second session in the middle of a serious moment Mack yells out "am I a ninja yet!" Everyone fell out laughing!
Couldn't get a picture of it but I got more smiles and thumbs up during class than I have his entire life. He is not afraid of doing the motions and saying the phrases and I've never seen him so focused on learning. I LOVE IT!
Not sure what it means but he got his belt and his first piece of tape at his second class. Yes I have lots of homework to do, but it's sure going to be fun!
