Thanksgiving

This year we made some Thanksgiving crafts. We started off with hand print Indians.

We also did some hand print turkeys. Mack threatened to shoot them the whole month! He is his fathers son.
Then we did some I am thankful 4. This was the most fun. Both of their lists showed their little personalities so well.

Next came the Indian attire. We painted bags and made headbands. I wonder what their ancestors would think of their Indian wear.

 I personally think they're adorable!
We attempted to make cake teepee's but man I'm just not that skilled. It was fun just trying though.
This is how they ended up, although we did manage to save a few.
They dipped the decent ones in chocolate then sprinkles.

The results where cute but I don't think I'll ever try them again.
We decorated some cupcakes since we had some leftover batter. I'm thinking Zac ended up eating more than he spread.

This was on Thanksgiving. We all had such a fun time eating and relaxing before my mom and I went black Friday shopping.

Zac's Birthday

I always try to do something fun on the boy's real birthday and this year was no different.
For breakfast we had cake and I let him blow out his candle again.
Pawpaw gave 3 licks with 1 to grow on! He thought that was so funny!
He rode his new bike with his tractor backpack that he didn't let out of his sight for the whole day.
He chose to eat at Mazzios for lunch. Just look at that face the boy loves pizza what can I say.
Then we went to the Natchez trace and ran/walked/rode.
For dinner he decided he wanted chicken and had cake for dessert. We decided to blow the candle out one more time for good measure.
I put together his new wall track! I think they played with that thing for an hour!
Not sure why the pictures are out of order but this is more pictures from the trace.

Zac's Superhero 3rd Birthday!

I can't believe it's true but my baby is now 3! I found this card on ETSY(http://www.etsy.com/listing/65081795/superhero-birthday-invitation-custom) and fell in love because I wanted to do a kind of generic Superhero party. So I searched for ideas on pinterest for the perfect superhero pose and ended up with this. It was the very last picture I took from 2 different days of  "posing", but it was so worth it!
Clark Kent meets Super Zac!

For the last 6 birthdays the boys have had we have ordered our cake from Village Confections and they have never disappointed!

Zac and his Gran (great grandmother). They have such a sweet connection.
The gator was once again the hit of the party.  Sweet Noah, Mack, and Zac

Driver Chloe with some very sweet cargo in the back!
Alex and Mack couldn't have been happier to see each other!
We also did silly string! I think they liked it ;)
Pawpaw helping Zac...one of my favorite pictures of the day!
With all of these superheros no bad guys stands a chance.

Zac loved the attention of everyone singing to him
This almost brings tears to my eyes. Jess and I grew up together like sisters and now our boys play with each other like brothers. I hope they will be as close as we are when they have kids of their own.

I think party planning in one of my most favorite parts of being a mom and I did my best to plan each element with the birthday boy in mind. Zac and I think everyone else had a great time and at the end of the day that's all that matters. We are so blessed to have such a great group of family and friends and I just want to say thank you for making my babies day so special!
