We did so many activities while preparing for Halloween! I love the age that the boys are right now because they're both old enough to enjoy the crafts.
We made candy necklaces. I had to help Zac a bit but man he loved the end result!
Mack was very determined the whole time! He really enjoyed this one!I made some pop-tart peanut butter balls.
Mackenzie had been asking me for some pumpkin pie since the beginning of October, but I really didn't think they would like it. They are beyond picky but I should've known they would prove me wrong. They ate every single bite and enjoyed their apple cider to wash it down.
We gathered some huge acorns from my Gran's neighbors house and she gave me the idea to paint them like pumpkins.
I can't take credit for this next one. My gran is the most creative baker I know. She had the idea to make the cupcakes look like pumpkins then she found these suckers and added those at the last minute. Let me just tell you they were to die for!!
The boys couldn't wait to sink their teeth into them!
They were both able to choose their favorite one. Zac couldn't have been more happy!
Mack ate every single bite which is something because he usually just eats the icing.
After all the Halloween fun at Gran and Nonnies we went to a fall festival. There was fishing for ducks.
Candy stuffing with monsters
Ring toss
Fishing for candyFinally it was trick-or-treating time. We played a little basketball before the door to door fun.
Then we swung in the hammock
Finally it was time to trick-or-treat! We had so much fun this year!
After we had gotten all the candy we could handle we went to our neighbors house to eat some yummy food and fellowship.
The boys were the youngest ones there so they were of course the center of attention.
Grandmama made the boys some popcorn hands that were a big hit!
We did manage to take a few pictures together this time!
