My first post

I decided to start a blog to sort of get document my life as a mother of two. So here it goes...



So far life as a mother of two hasn't been at all what I thought it would be. Mack had a good many problems as a baby...reflux, allergies, asthma, and would catch anything that could be caught but he was always a very happy baby as long he was fed and close to me. Not the case with Zac. He has reflux, was hospitalized in January for RSV and also had his 1st ear infection. We are now on ear infection #6. He has been on every antibiotic on the market so we decided to take a trip to an ENT. That went horribly. The doctor had NO bedside manner...brushed me off like I was making the whole thing up and even tried to discredit the pediatrician. We had to go back to the doctor 4 days later and suprise suprise he has another ear infection. I told his pediatrician how the ENT acted and he apologised profusely saying that he would refer us someone else. We'll go back Monday for a follow-up and go from there. In reaction to him always feeling bad he cries all the time. It is very rare to have a good day with him. I know it's not his fault but it makes me feel like a terrible mother for not being able to fix him. But I digress I love my boys more than anything and I'm assuming life as a mother of 2 can only get better from here...right ;)
